I think I had to use DDU maybe once-a bit over 15 years ago-to correct a situation that happened when I made the mistake of installing one driver right on top of the next driver and something went haywire after doing this for many months-may have been the Catalysts back then-can't recall it's been so long. Only time I would ever use DDU now is when I run into problems either installing or uninstalling my drivers using the standard AMD/nVidia driver install routines that ship with the Adrenalin 2020s.
