I expected a little bit more about where Cole went after bailing school, his thoughts about what happened between them and maybe a scene with his father or Mackenzie. It was pretty much the insta-love feeling we got from Ali's POV in the actual book, with a lot more intensity. It was nice to read from his POV, but nothing fantastic about it. And the scene they play out in each others head is definitely quite steamy from his perspective. The instant attraction he feels for Ali is definitely not what you expect from him on the account of knowing how he acts through her POV but seeing and hearing what he feels is intense to say the least. While reading you are constantly wondering what that other person is thinking, especially when those people first meet.
